Winding down, moving on

In less than two weeks I will be moving from Harrisonburg. In less than a month I will have moved to Ocean City, where I spend six weeks finishing up my internship with Campus Crusade for Christ. In just about two months I will be moving to Pennsylvania to start a dietetic internship! A lot is going on...

If you noticed one of my 101 things was listed in that post! I GOT A DIETETIC INTERNSHIP!!! Yay. I'm super grateful and really excited. So, check that off my list.

In the past couple weeks I've also bought my first pair of cycling shoes:

I love indoor cycling classes! These have definitely enhanced my workouts, as my legs literally become an extension of the bike when I clip my shoes into the pedals.

The last fun update I have is that my housemates and I had a sleepover. This might seem a little silly or weird since we live together, but we decided it would be a fun way to celebrate a birthday. We took two double matresses and put them in the middle of our living room floor to create one giant bed for the 4 of us to sleep on. It was ridiculous I'll admit, but I had a great time! (Do you think this can count for my be a kid again for a day as well?)

I'm back...

So yah, about that promise to make a post. It might have taken me 2 months but here I am. And as I look over my list here are a few things I have completed/been working on:

-Visit three friends I've never visited

For the first three years of college I was in a Bible study with the same really awesome group of girls. Now that we're big girls, we all live in different places and it's harder to stay in touch. But last month we had a little reunion! We met up at Ke
lly's apartment near Winchester, VA. It was a fun day seeing each
other, catching up, and laughing just like old times. Below are some pictures of the awesome spread Kelly made for us :) I love colorful food, especially when it's fruits and vegetables!

-Buy and play a board game

Mexican Train anyone? I played it for the first time last Fall and then again at a friend from church's house in January. It didn't take long for me to g
o out and buy it. It's a lot of fun! My boyfriend Addison and I like to play it a lot.

-Have a sleepover

Well it might not have been as extravagant as what I had imagined but my little cousin Nicole came over the night before Christmas Eve and we had a little sleepover. We camped out in the living room, I painted her nails, and we watched silly Youtube videos. Sounds like a pretty good sleepover, minus the fact that I got sick at about 4:30am and through up 5 times in 4 hours. It ended on a bad note, but regardless it is complete!

-Do a "30 for 30" challenge

I mentioned this in my last post. I was really hoping to take pictures of my outfits everyday during the 30 for 30, but unfortunately I was not successful with that. I did take pictures the first 2 days, haha. I also have pictures of the clothes that were part of my collection.
If you aren't familiar with a "30 for 30" basically you select 30 items of clothing/shoes from your closet and mix and match them for 30 days. They are all you can wear for those 30 days, but you can accessorize with other items like jewelry, scarves, hats.

I'm going to make a separate post with pictures from the 30 for 30. It's just easier that way.

Back in the game..

Dear Challenge,

I'm really sorry for neglecting you! I promise to get back in the swing of things (at least for a little bit). I plan to do a 30 in 30 (30 items of clothes for 30 days) challenge starting February 1st, so that means something on my list will get done. I'll be back soon with updates!
